rental to a full
production, our experienced staff are available to
assist at every step - from guidance in choosing the equipment
appropriate to your needs and budget, through to complete
audio system design, transport, installation and operation.
An extensive
inventory of professional audio products is continually
updated, and maintained by our in-house technical
crew, while our fleet of vehicles ensures reliable
delivery and pickup of equipment as required.
Coupled with extended
office hours and the availability of after hour's
service., we look forward to assisting you in your next
audio enterprise.
About Us.
Our heritage dates back to
1945, when Stuart McLean started building audio amplifiers
and equipment, as there were few commercial products available.
With his wife Madge, they
operated one of Melbourne's first audio companies from
a shop-front in suburban Caulfield. Early highlights include
being the principal sound contractor for the 1956 Melbourne
Olympics and Queen Elizabeth's 1958 visit.
They eventually came to
specialise in providing horn loaded outdoor systems for
large events at racecourses, speedways marches and festivals.
In the late 1970's their son Hugh branched out to service
the growing market for high fidelity audio systems that
musical acts were demanding.
Today, under the direction
of Richard Bilinski and his enthusiastic team, McLean
Audio Services are proud to provide a wide range of professional
audio equipment and
production services
for a diverse and demanding clientele.
